Hackensack who had lost to East Orange only a few weeks earlier 30-28 and are favored to win in spite of the loss just squeaks out an opening round victory 23-20 after dominating in the first half 17-2.  A win is a win and so Hackensack moves on to round two of the State tournament game because of the victory and all is well.
